Job Summary
The Head, CASA Business Segment is responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) segment. This includes developing and executing initiatives to attract low-cost deposits, improve liquidity, and enhance digital banking adoption.
Job Details
- Develop and implement strategies to increase CASA deposits and improve customer acquisition.
- Drive the expansion of digital banking adoption, ensuring all CASA transactions are digital.
- Monitor and improve the active CASA accounts ratio to meet targets.
- Establish cross-selling initiatives, ensuring at least 90% of CASA customers use an additional banking product.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and marketing teams to enhance digital banking solutions.
- Identify and implement cost-effective measures to improve CASA transaction flow and profitability.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and partners to enhance deposit mobilization.
- Oversee performance metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail banking, deposit mobilization, or digital banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of deposit management, digital banking solutions, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Proven ability to drive large-scale deposit growth and financial inclusion initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
