Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven products manager to oversee the development, management, and optimization of business banking products at VFD Microfinance Bank. This role will be responsible for driving product innovation, ensuring market competitiveness, and leading a team to deliver best-in-class business banking solutions. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in product management, business banking, and financial services, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and financial data to drive sustainable growth.

Operational Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Development (Develop and execute roadmap, market research, innovation, pricing, etc.)
- Product Management & Optimization (Lifecycle management, performance monitoring, improvements, compliance, etc.)
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration (Work with sales, marketing, technology, regulators, and partners.)
- Customer-Centric Approach (Customer insights, onboarding, and experience enhancement.)
Requirements
- Competency Requirements:
- Leadership and team management
- Business banking, SME finance, payments, and digital financial services knowledge
- Market research, customer segmentation, and product pricing expertise
- Problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities
- Communication and stakeholder management skills
- Agile work environment adaptability
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) and product management software (Confluence, Trello, Asana)
- Specification/Qualification:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business banking, or financial services (at least 2 years in leadership)
- Experience in microfinance, digital banking, or fintech (preferred)
- Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks
